Foodtruckin'

A few weeks ago we went to a Food Truck Rally in McHenry Row. There were so many trucks to choose from, I wanted one of everything. It was pretty cold that night so we would warm up in Dunkin' Donuts and then go back out. There was live music too!

Lexi getting sucked into Wolf's sad face about having to be in his stroller.

He insisted on eating that giant sandwich by himself.

To the left it says "Big Bad Wolf".

There were two cupcake trucks! The best cupcake was
the Maple Bacon one that Chris got.

I'm surprised this is the first picture of me blowing on hot food.
I feel like that's how I spend my whole life.

Thank you Lexi for such beautiful pictures!

Visitors

Our friend's Zak and Sage visited a few weekends ago. The weather couldn't have been more gorgeous while they were here. We had a little party one night so they can meet everyone down here and we spent a day in Baltimore. We went to Federal Hill and stood in awe of the beautiful view and walked around the Harbor. There were some hilarious street performers that day.

This picture encapsulates Wolf's personality perfectly.

The last day they were here, Sage and I went shopping and I got Wolf some new shoes that to this day he absolutely loves:

...and lots of this happened that week.

Thank you Lexi for so many beautiful photos!

Maryland - America in Miniature

Maryland is a beautiful state. The longer we are here, the more I like it. There will always be things that aren't the same as New York or things that we miss but I'm really taking to the changes. It has taken me time but I'm finally getting there. We've been here 6 months now and there is still so much to see. We came right at the beginning of winter and I don't know about you but we hibernate during the colder months. Now that Spring has sprung I'm ready to explore this new place and learn all the ins and outs of what it means to be a Marylander. It's exciting too that Wolf is old enough to be engaged in whatever we do. If we do something outside, there's a 100% chance he will love it. We want to take him to the DC zoo again, we are saving some Baltimore Aquarium tickets for the heat of summer, and we want to explore all the cute towns that surround us. The Harbor has dragon paddle boats that Wolf will be old enough for this summer, and you know we will be doing that.  Not to mention the many parks and hiking trails around here.  There's so much to do here in the warmer months! Here's a few snapshots of what springtime is looking like so far:

Wearing his "eyes".
Unpacking summer hand me downs is the best.
Wolf wanted to model several outfits and try on each pair of shoes.

Witnessing at the light rail. This was such an enjoyable morning.
It was a gorgeous day and on top of talking to many people,
Wolf was entertained by the trains and buses all morning.

Rita's Italian ice is going to be a staple food this summer.

Spotting "bees" like a champ. All bugs are bees. Birds are bees, also.

While shopping for flowers we stopped to look at their chickens. Wolf loved
them until one bit me.

Spring also means projects. We are stripping and staining our dressers.

Hammock love.

Our itty bitty neighbors.

Spring romping. This is the first and last time he wore these shoes.
He got blisters and now calls the shoes "ows".
He's helping my Dad build a shed in the yard. By making sure all the nails are screwed in.
